Grandson of Jacob and Sallie Franklin Boone. Wife Sarah Davis Ivey. I, J. M. Boone, being of sound mind and memory, and discretion, do make this my last will and testament. FIRST. I commit my soul to God who gave it and I desire a Christian Burial. SECOND. I give unto my four children; E. M. Boone, Alex Boone, Gertrude Boone and Addie Boone, all of the land known as the Boone old homestead, lying in Lord's District of Wilkinson County, containing 500 acres, more or less, and being bound by the lands of J. M. Shepherd on the northwest, H. A. Ball on the north, Mrs. Celia Freeman on the west, ?H. Freeman on the east, and Mrs. Frances Dixon on the south. The same to be divided between the four children. ITEM 2. (duplication of numbers) I give unto my sons, E. M> Boone and Alex Boone all the balance of the real estate, consisting ofthe dwelling house and the lot where I now reside, containing 9 acres more or less; the store house and lot in the town of Toomsboro now occupied by E. M. Boone and Co.; the vacant lot, between the above described lot and the store of H. A. Hall. And four vacant lots in the town of Toomsboro. ITEM 3. I give unto my four children to be equally divided by them all my household and kitchen furniture. ITEM 4 I give unto my two sons, E. M. Boone and Elexander S. Boone all my personal property of every kind and description with the exception of the household and kitchen furniture as named in Item 3. The two sons are to pay off all of the debts due by me individually as a member of the firm E. M. Boone and Company, or otherwise and in no event is any of the property given to the two girls to be used in paying any of the said debts. All of my interest in the store of E. M. Boone and Company; my life insurance (wherein the beneficiary is not named other than Administrator or Executor), all notes, accounts and other personal property not excepted included in this ITEM. FIFTH. I hereby nominate E. M. Boone and Elex S. Boone, Executors of this will and I ask they give no bond for such. In witness whereof, I hereunto fix my hand and seal this 11th day of October 1908.
