Will of Adam Jones 12 Aug 1845 Wilkinson County, GA Estate Accounts 1838-1850 page 366; no date of probation shown In the name of God, amen. I, Adam Jones, being weak in body and blessed be the Lord, sound in mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last will and testament, in the manner and form following: That is to say, in the first place I resign my body to the earth from which it came and distribute my estate among my five children as follows: Sallie, Frances, Patsy, Patience and son Daniel. Amongst them is my will and desire to divide into different shares and parts, which is all to be equal, share and share alike, in all cases; in which my whole estate and effects will have to be sold, and I therefore make and appoint and ordain my worthy friend and son-in-laws, James Gibson and James Ware, my lawful Executors, to transact the whole business of my estate after my decease and decent burial, expenses paid therefrom. In witness whereof, I have set my hand and seal this 12th of August 1845 Signed Adam Jones ==================================================================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
