Deed Book "U", pg 539 STATE OF GEORGIA, WORTH CO. THIS INDENTURE, made and entered into the 4th day of September, in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eighteen, between W.H. Burgess and H.L. Gary of the county of Worth and State of Georgia, of the one part, and C.C. Rudd, of the county of Worth and State of Georgia, of the other part, WITNESSETH: That the party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty and no/100 ($50.00) Dollars, in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath bargained, sold, and conveyed unto the said C.C. Rudd, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the county of Worth, as follows: Beginning at a point on the A.C.L.R.R. where recently stood a rosin platform now on the west side of Oak Avenue and running north with a 24 degrees variation west to a point ninety (90) feet from the center of the A.C.L.R.R. track, thence west with 24 degrees variation south eighty two (82) feet, thence south with 24 degrees variation west to the A.C.L.R.R., thence east to the beginning point, being a portion off of lot of land 309 in the 7th district of Worth Co., Ga., in the town of Poulan, which said tract or parcel of land the said W.H. Burgess and H.L. Gary well and truly warrant and defend from the claim of all persons whomsoever, unto said C.C. Rudd, his heirs and assigns, forever, in fee simple.
