Worth County This indenture, made this 17 day of October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundredand Forty One between G.A. Hill of the State of Georgia and County of Worth of the first part, and Mary Shefton Thomas of the State of Georgia and County of Worth of the second part. WITNESSETH: That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of Six hundred and No/100 DOLLARS, in hand paid at and befor the sealing and delivery of the presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey this a parcel of land lying and being in this county of Worth as follows: Being a part of land lot 334 and a part out of the north east corner of lot number twelve and the northwest corner of lot thirteen according to plat and survey made by Edward Wilson in 1913 of the Pope land, and better described as follows: Beginning at center of East end of Pollard Street, where Pollard Street, intersects with the Sylvester and Nashville Public road and running along the center of Pollard Street in a westterly direction to the north east corner of land of Mrs. John N. Sumner (formerly known as the Mrs. G.A. Hill place)and the northwest corner of land of Dr. T.C. Jeffords (formerly known as the J.H. Beasley place)thence north to the center of the Sylvester and Nashville public road, being on a straight line with the land line between Mrs. John N. Sumner and Dr. T.C. Jeffords, and thence in an east and southeasterly direction along the center of the Sylvester and Nashville public road to the starting point, containing ten acres more or less, and being in the seventh land district of Worth county, Geoorgia. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said bargained premises, together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereof, to the same being, belonging or in any wise appertaining, to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, forever, IN FEE SIMPLE. And the party of the first part, for his heirs, executors and administrators will warrant and forever defend the right and title to the above described property unto the said party of the second part, her heirs and assigns, against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.
