Deed Book 28, pg 178 GEORGIA, WORTH COUNTY. This Indenture, made this 25th day of January in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty-One between J.S. Hill of the county of Worth and State of Georgia of the first part, and Arthur Hill of the county of Schley and State of Georgia of the second part, WITNESSETH, That the said party of the first part, for and in consideration of the sum of $1650.00 Dollars, in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Worth, town of Shingler, as follows: The same being known as Lot No. 20 in Block No. 15 on the corner of Sumner and First Streets, the same being the southeast lot in said block all according to a plat and survey of said town of Shingler, formerly called Turner, made by Edward Wilson, civil engineer and on file in the office of J.D. Betts Company of Ashburn, Ga. Said land being a part of lot of land No. 447 in the 7th district of Worth County, Georgia. To Have And To Hold the said bargained premises, together with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereto to the same being, blonging or in anywise appertaining, to the proper use, benefit and behoof of Arthur Hill, the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns forever in FEE SIMPLE. And the said party of the first part, for his heirs, executors and administrators, will warrant and forever defend the right and title of the above-described property unto the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, against the claims of all persons whom- soever.
