Worth County Deed Book K, page 299. This indenture made the first day of April in the year of Our Lord One Thousand Nine Hundred and One between J.S. Hill of the county of Macon of the one part and Isiah Underwood of the county of Worth of the other part. Witnesseth that the said J.S. Hill for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Twenty ( $120.00) Dollars in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed, and confirmed and by these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said Isiah Underwood his heirs and assigns all that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the seventh district of Worth County and said State, known as seventy four and one quarter (74 1/4) acres more or less off of lot of land No. (269) two hundred and sixty nine in said 7th district of Worth county, said land bounded as follows: on the east by lands of A.J. Roper, on the south by lands Hollingsworth estate, on the west by lands of N. E. Thornhill, on the north by lands of Mrs. Fannie Underwood containing seventy four and one quarter acres, more or less. To Have and To Hold, the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights, members, and apputenances thereunto appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behoof of him the said Isiah Underwood, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns in fee simple and the said J.S. Hill the said bargained premises unto the said Isiah Underwood, his heirs, executors against the said J.S. Hill, his heirs, executors, and administrators and against all and every other person or persons, shall and will warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents. In witness whereof the said J.S. Hill has hereunto set his hand, affixed his seal and delivered these presents the day and year first above written. J.S.
