Worth County Deed Book 27, page 69. THIS INDENTURE, made the 15th day of August in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and Ninety Five, between M.J. Bass, county of Worth, of the one part and E.T Culpepper, of the county of Worth, of the other part, WITNESSETH: That the said M.J. Bass, for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Seventy Five dollars in hand paid, at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, has granted, bargained, sold, aliened, conveyed and confirmed, and by these presents doth grant, bargain, sell, alien, convey and confirm unto the said E.T. Culpepper, her heirs and assigns, all a certain tract of land off of lot of land (No. 269) in 7th district of Worth County, Ga., containing one hundred and six acres, more or less, described, as follows: Beginning at North-west corner of said lot (No. 269) and running along original land line south to corner of fifty acre tract sold to Issac Coleman now owned by Westberry, thence east to the northeast corner of said fifty acre tract, thence north along line of lands sold Jim Smith and I. Underwood to original land line, thence west along said original land line to starting point. TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said bargained premises with all and singular the rights, members and appurtenances thereunto appertaining to the only proper use, benefit and behoof of E.T. Culpepper, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, in fee simple. And the said party of the first part, the said bargained property above described unto the the said party of the second part, her heirs, executors and administrators, and assigns, against the said party of the first part, her heirs, executors and administrators, and against all and every other person or persons shall and will and does hereby warrant and forever defend by virtue of these presents. In Witness Whereof the said party of the first part hath hereunto set her hand and affixed her seal and delivered these presents the day and year first above written.
