Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Hill were the guests of Mrs. Hill's parents Mr. and Mrs. G.J. Wallace, on last Sunday -------------------- Worth Co. Local, April 19, 1907. Mr. G(eorge) A(rchibald) Hill took his wife and children to Ellaville last Sunday. Mrs. Hill has been in bad health for some time and it is hoped that the trip will bring back her health. Mr. Hill returned Monday. ------------------------------- Worth Co. Local, May 8, 1907. Mrs. G.A. Hill(the former Fannie Payne), who has been in Ellaville for several weeks with Mr. Hill's parents, was brought back home Wednesday, very sick. She was accompanied by Mr. Hill's father(P.Z. Hill), who returned to his home yesterday. ----------------------------------------- Worth Co. Local, May 10, 1907 Mrs. G.W. Payne of Dawson came Monday to visit Mrs. G.A. Hill who is very sick. ---------------------------------------- Worth Co. Local, May 17, 1907. This community was grieved by the news of the death of Mrs. G.A. Hill in Sylvester the first of the week(May 12, 1907). Mrs. Hill lived here 2 or 3 years a few years since(?), and had many friends here who mourn her death and deeply sympathize with the husband and children in this their hour of greif. Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Bridges of Cecil left Tuesday after a visit here to Mrs. G. A. Hill. Worth Co. Local, November 8, 1907. Mr. H(amilton) H(enry) Hill of Meigs, visited his son, Mr. J(ohn) A. Hill, several days this week. Mr. Bob Hill of Ellaville, visited his brother, Mr. J.A. Hill Sunday, return- ing home Monday. Mr. & Mrs. P(leasant) G(reen) Sheppard of Garden Valley, after spend- ing several days with their daughter, Mrs. J.A. Hill(formerly Minnie Lee Sheppard) returned to their home Wednesday. A SAD DEATH Last Saturday night little Walter Hill was taken from his home by the grim reaper Death. He was sick several days and was stricken with appendicitis. All that that medical skill could do was done for him, but to no avail. The remains were interred in the cemetery here. Rev. W.L. Wright conducted the funeral services at the grave with a number of his school- mates acting as pallbearers. The bereaved family requests us to thank the good people of the city who extended so much assistance to them in their hour of bereavement. The family are especially grateful for the untiring and faithful efforts of their physicians, Drs. Jeffords and Bridges.
