Bryant, well known Shingler resident, died early Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. F.H. Mauldin at Sparks. She went to Sparks about three weeks ago to visit her daughter. After being there a week she was taken ill. Besides her daughter, Mrs. Mauldin, she is survived by a brother, Mr. L.N. Hill of Charing. The funeral service was held at the Shingler Methodist Church yesterday morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. L.M. Spvey. The pallbearers were Messrs. E.L. Limbro, W.W. Tomberlin, E.F. Snipes, C.S. Gilmer, G.C. King, and J.W. Bellflower, with Spurlin Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Additional Comments: Mrs. James H. Bryant was Martha Mary Hill, daughter of Lewis Hill and Mary Elizabeth Joiner. She was born in Taylor Co. February 13, 1865. She married James H. Bryant in Schley Co., December 31, 1885. She is buried in poulan cemetery, Poulan, Ga.
