DEATHS AND FUNERALS
Mrs. G.A. Hill
     Mrs. G.A. Hill(the former Carrie Ella Bateman) died at the family home in Sylvester Tuesday 
morning following an extended illness.  Surviving her besides her husband are three daughters, 
Mrs. J(ames) L. Tison(Adeline) of Jacksonville, Fla.;   Mrs. P(ercy) A. Seigler(Annie Lucile) 
of Albany;  and Mrs. M.G.(Bertha) Seigler of Nashville, Tenn. and one son, Mr. Walter(Bateman) Hill 
of Sylvester.  Also surviving are two brothers, Messrs. R.M. and H.W. Bateman of Red Rock and 
one sister, Mrs. W.C.(Lizzie) Hall of Sylvester.
     The funeral service was held at the Methodist Church yesterday morning at 11:15, conducted 
by Rev. W.F. Burford, Rev. E.L. Baskin and Rev. J.L. Russell.  Interment followed in Hillcrest 
cemetery.
     The pallbearers were Messrs. J.O. Gregory, Bill Bateman, William Bateman, Charlie Braswell, 
Bubber Hall and Ben Hill.

     We wish to sincerely thank each one for any act of kindness or assistance to use(us) during 
the illness and death of our wife and mother.  May God justly reward each of you.

(Note:  Carrie Ella Bateman was first married to Frank L. Williams on May 12, 1901 in Worth Co., 
GA and second to George Archibald Hill on April 24, 1910, at least that's the day of license issue.)
