Hill. Harris The Sylvester Local Thursday, November 22, 1934 DEATHS AND FUNERALS Mrs. G.A. Hill Mrs. G.A. Hill(the former Carrie Ella Bateman) died at the family home in Sylvester Tuesday morning following an extended illness. Surviving her besides her husband are three daughters, Mrs. J(ames) L. Tison(Adeline) of Jacksonville, Fla.; Mrs. P(ercy) A. Seigler(Annie Lucile) of Albany; and Mrs. M.G.(Bertha) Seigler of Nashville, Tenn. and one son, Mr. Walter(Bateman) Hill of Sylvester. Also surviving are two brothers, Messrs. R.M. and H.W. Bateman of Red Rock and one sister, Mrs. W.C.(Lizzie) Hall of Sylvester. The funeral service was held at the Methodist Church yesterday morning at 11:15, conducted by Rev. W.F. Burford, Rev. E.L. Baskin and Rev. J.L. Russell. Interment followed in Hillcrest cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. J.O. Gregory, Bill Bateman, William Bateman, Charlie Braswell, Bubber Hall and Ben Hill.
