Deaths in Georgia.

Mr. John A. Ford, the oldest resident of Worth county, died at his home near 
Parkersville, on Thursday night.  On Wednesday night at supper he showed 
symptoms of being unwell and sinking into a slumber passed quietly away.  He 
was eighty years of age.  He was a native of Telfair county and sixty-five 
years ago moved therefrom with his father and settled in Irwin county, upon the 
portion of it which was afterward converted into Worth county.  Mr. Ford was an 
exemplary Christian and lived a life truly patriarchal.  He leaves eleven 
children, eight sons, all prominent citizens of this section, three daughters, 
twenty-four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
