Obituary Notice - 13 Aug 1979  J. L. Pye

  The funeral service of John Louie Pye of 926 Residence Ave., who died today, 
will be conducted Tuesday at Oaklawn Chapel Funeral Home at 2 p. m.   Interment 
will follow in Providence Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
  A native of Worth County, Mr. Pye had lived in Albany 45 years.  He owned and 
operated Pye's Grocery for 40 years.
  Survivors include his wife, Maxie Pye, Albany; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Ruis, 
Worth County. and Mrs. Della Lawson and Mrs. J. G. Butler, both of Albany. and 
three brothers, Dan Pye, Worth County and Wesley Pye and Walter Pye, both of 
Albany.
