Hill October 11, 2005, 5:53 pm The Sylvester Local Jan. 22, 1931 Mr. J.S. Hill, aged 63, died at his home at Shingler, Saturday. He had been in ill health for several years. He was a native of Taylor County, moving to Worth 25 years ago. Surviving him besides his wife are three daughters, Mrs. J.H. trammel, Jacksonville, Fla., Mrs. Leonard belcher, Winter Park, Fla., and Miss Glenda Hill, Jacksonville, Fla., and one son, Mr. Horace Hill of Shingler. Interrment took place at Poulan cemetery, Sunday morning, the funeral being conducted by Elder R.H. Jennings of Dawson and Rev. Theo Barr, of Poulan. Hill at Poulan cemetery. The obit correctly states that Josiah Hill was a native of Taylor County, however he moved to Worth County from Schley County, having spent a number of years living there prior to the move.
