DC# 019824) and is buried at Evergreen Cemetery. Her parents, Milledge Lee Carroll and Exie Lucille Heath Carroll are also buried there. From The Sylvester Local News 5-19-1993 page 9 Mrs. Hazel Jackson Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Carroll Jackson, 62, of Sylvester, who died on May 15, were held on May 17 at the Evergreen Baptist Church with the Rev. W. G. Tyson and the Rev. Tommy McDonald officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery. She was the daughter of the late Milledge L. Carroll. The Worth County native was a former employee with Coats & Clark of Albany who resided all he life in the county of her birth. She was a member of the Evergreen Baptist Church. Serving as pallbearers were David Carroll Jr., Jeff King, Tommy Pate, Gene Huggins, R. L. Herring and Pat Patterson. Honorary pallbearers are J. O. Stephens, Robert Aultman, Willie Ben McCary, Ed Lawson, Jim King, Marcus Stephens. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Brenda Dunn of Rockmart, Mrs. Sue Pilkinton of Morrow, Mrs. Jean Lawson of Sylvester; mother, Mrs. Exie Heath Carroll of Albany. Sisters, Mrs. Betty James, Mrs. Mary Ann Childers, both of Sylvester; brothers, Jimmy Carroll of North Carolina, Robert Carroll, Charles Carroll, David Carroll, Austin Carroll, all of Sylvester and four grandchildren.
