Obituary  -  18 Sep 2001  Walter Albert Pye, Jr.

  Albany Area  -  Walter Albert (WA) Pye, Jr., 74, of 712 South Street, Albany, 
died Saturday, September 15, 2001, at Sylvester Health Care.
  The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hall & Hall Funeral 
Home.  Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.  His son Phil Pye will conduct 
the service.
  A native of Albany,  Mr. Pye was a retired master plumber and owned his own 
business.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Albert Pye and 
Fannie Odessa Pye, a son, John W. Pye and a brother Ronnie Pye.
  Survivors include his wife, Alice Pye of Albany; son Phil A. Pye of Fortson; 
daughters, Brenda Sanders of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Linda Casey of Albany and 
Patricia McCook of Baconton; brothers, John Pye and Marion Pye; sister,  
Frances Pye; grandchildren, Donna Marie Haight of Alamogordo, N.M., Kimberly 
Teresa Pye and Ronnie Kevin Bradshaw of Columbus, Kelly Hill, Melissa Brown and 
John Pye, Jr., all of Albany, Tammy Owens of Jacksonville, Fla., Ricky Casey of 
Sylvester and Keith Corneilus of Baconton; great-grand children, Ashton Haight 
and Carrin Matthews of Alamogordo, N.M., Mary Brooke Bradshaw of Conyers, 
Zachary Owens of Jacksonville, Josiah Casey of Sylvester, Eddie Hill, Amber 
Hill and Tyler Pye, all of Albany.
  Visitation will be 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
