His headstone was toppled over and broken. This is the Civil War Marker. John F. Brooks Company B, 10th Battalion Georgia Infantry Confederate States Of America. There are 4 graves located here. His wife and two daughters who died at an early age are buried here with John. Additional Comments: I am in the process of trying to get the county to help restore the cemetery. It hasn't been taken care of in a long time. It was in tact in 1982. In 2010, I'm digging the headstones out from under the trees that were cut down so the pivot get get over it. Also all the headstones were toppled over and partially buried in the ground.
