The photo was taken at the Old Brooks Family Cemetery located off Whiddon Mill
Road. This is the headstone after I stood it back up and cleaned it up a little.
It reads "Mary Wife Of J.F. Brooks Born Nov 10 1944 Died Dec 21 1909 Blessed Are
The Dead That Die In The Lord". There are 4 graves located here. Her husband
John and two daughters who died at an early age are beside her.

Additional Comments:
I am in the process of trying to get the county to help restore the cemetery. It
hasn't been taken care of in a long time. It was intact in 1982. In 2010, I'm
digging the headstones out from under the trees that were cut down so the pivot
 could get over it. Also, all the headstones were toppled over and partially
buried in the ground.
