The photo was taken at the Old Brooks Family Cemetery located off Whiddon Mill
Road in Sumner, Ga. This is the headstone after I stood it back up, pieced it
back together, and cleaned it up a little. As you can see his headstone was
toppled over and broken. It reads Julian Infant Daughter of J.F. And Mary Brooks
Born June 22, 1885 Died June 28 1885 Budded On Earth To Bloom In Heaven". There
are 4 graves located here. Her parents and a sister who died at an early age are
buried here with Julianne.

This Cemetery is listed in the book titled "Worth County Cemeteries". It was
surveyed in 1982 and was found intact.

Additional Comments:
I am in the process of trying to get the county to help restore the cemetery. It
hasn't been taken care of in a long time. It was intact in 1982. In 2010, I'm
digging the headstones out from under the trees that were cut down so the pivot
could get over it. Also, all the headstones were toppled over and partially
buried in the ground.
