OTHER INFORMATION:  Husband Joseph tried to call Helen from his job at Honokaa Sugar Mill, but she did not answer so he went home to investigate.  Arriving at home, Joseph saw Helen in the smoke-filled car.  When he opened the door, the upholstery blazed up and Joseph fought it with the garden hose before calling the sugar mill for help.  Newspapers had been stacked in the front and back seats of the car.  No note was left by Helen, but Joseph and her physician said she had been despondent because of a physical condition.
