OTHER INFORMATION:  Norman went fishing with his cousin Mark Sarme; after a while they decided to walk up the stream; after a while Mark noticed Norman was not following him, but he thought it was a game Norman was playing so he kept walking.  Later, Mark went to Norman's house, thinking Norman had gone home, but Norman was not there; he and Norman's mother waited for an hour, Mark went to look for Norman and Norman's mother went for help; Mark discovered the body while wading in the stream, and pulled it from the water; the fire department tried to revive Norman but were unsuccessful; news article in the 03 Aug 1967 Hawaii Tribune-Herald; headstone photo: 242alaesece.jpg
