Honolulu Star-Bulletin May 1, 1948
 Bernard Carreira, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Carreira of Kaneohe, celevrated 
his second birthday on April 18 with a party.
 Those present were: Veronica Mello, June Teixeria, Matsuko Kubo, Clarence 
Camara, Dorothy Pacheco, Allan Bartfeld, Billy Avilla and Theresa Pacheco.

 Mrs. E. Estelle Harrington honored her son George, with a hekka beach party 
on his 17th birthday last Saturday.
 George's friends from Wahiawa, Waialua and Punahou were invited to celebrate 
with him on this occasion.
