UNKNOWN NEWSPAPER May 4, 1948
  Mrs. Elizabeth Ziegler Pierson, daughter of Mrs. Parke Watson and William 
Ziegler, Jr., New York, was married April 27 to Charles Williams Lucas Jr., of 
Honolulu.
  Supreme Court Justice B. M. McNally officiated at the home of Mr. and Mrs. 
Ziegler, 116 East 55th St.
  Mr. Ziegler gave his daughter in marriage, and the Misses Barbara Ziegler 
and Helen Martin Ziegler were their sister’s attendants. Frederick Hahn, of 
New York, was best man.
  Mrs. Lucas is the former Miss Elizabeth Ziegler. Her marriage to William V. 
Pierson Jr., of Baltimore, was terminated by divorce.
  Her father, widely known in business, also is a sportsman and owns one of 
this country’s leading racing stables.
  Mr. Lucas is the son of Mrs. Mona Hind Holmes and of Charles W. Lucas, both 
of Honolulu.
  His previous marriage was with the former Miss Barbara Leavitt, of 
Somersville, Desert, Me.
  Mr. and Mrs. Lucas will live in Honolulu.
