UNKNOWN NEWSPAPER October 15, 1949
  The engagement of Miss Gwendolyn Hildagard Judd to Richard Carvalho was 
announced recently at a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dewey Edward White, 
2016 Skyline drive.
  The wedding date has not been set.
  The bride elect is the daughter of Mrs. Hilda White and the late Charles 
Hastings Judd Jr. Her finance’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Marion Carvalho, 1834 
Houghtailing Rd.
  Miss Judd is the grandniece of the late Mrs. F. M. Swanzy and the late Miss 
Emily Pauahi Judd. She attended Roosevelt high school.
  Mr. Carvalho is employed by the Mutual Telephone Co.
