Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Tuesday, June 5, 1973
 Joseph M. Gouveia, 83, of 3227 Brokaw St., died Saturday at home.
 A Requiem Mass will be held at noon Thursday at St. Augustine's Church 
followed by burial in Diamond Head Memorial Park.
 Friends may call at the church after 8 a.m. Thursday.
 Mr. Gouveia was born in Kauai.
 He is survived by four sons, George, Clarence, Albert and Lawrence; three 
daughters, Mrs. Agnes Leach, Mrs. Mabel Souza and Mrs. Gladys Moriwaki; a step-
son, Maxie Fernandez; a step-daughter, Mrs. Norma Fernandez; 26 grandchildren; 
and 12 great-grandchildren.
