DOROTHY HEDEMANN

  Mrs. Dorothy Hedemann, 74, died at Maunalani Hospital yesterday afternoon, 
after a long illness.
  She was born in Honolulu, the youngest of eight children. Her parents were 
the late Alfred S. Hartwell and the late Charlotte E. Smith Hartwell.
  In 1914 she married Dr. Ferdinand F. Hedemann, who died in 1927.
  She is survived by her son, F. F. Hedemann, Jr., and her daughter, Mrs. 
Lewis Howard, Jr., both of Honolulu.
  Other survivors are her sisters, Mrs. A. W. Carter and Mrs. A. F. Judd, both 
of Honolulu, and Miss Bernice Hartwell, in Los Angeles, and her brother 
Charles A. Hartwell of Coronado, California.
  Private services are pending. The family requests that no flowers be sent.
