The Honolulu Advertiser, November 27, 1958
 Services for Kamato Higa, 70, who died Tuesday at Kuakini Hospital, will be 
held today at the Nuuanu Memorial Park Mortuary at 4 p.m. Cremation is to 
follow.
 Mr. Higa was born in Okinawa, Japan, on May 14, 1888. He made his home at 41-
1349 Haunaukoi St.
 Surviving are his wife, Usa Higa; seven sons, William Kameichi, James Yoshio, 
Roy Saburo, Harry Seishu, Ronald Hideo, Mitsuo, and Larry Shinyei Higa; two 
daughters, Miss Toshiko Higa and Mrs. Judy Sumiko Watanabe; twelve 
grandchildren and one great grandchild.
