Honolulu Star-Bulletin, May 14, 1977
 Masao Higashi, 57, of 91-1161 Hapua St., Ewa Beach, died Thursday in St. 
Francis Hospital.
 Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. tomorrow at Mililani Downtown 
Mortuary at 20 S. Kukui St. The family requests that flowers be omitted.
 Mr. Higashi was born in Hawaii.
 He is survived by a son, Dwight M.; four daughters, Mrs. Lester (Janice M.) 
Kaji, Esther K., Margaret M. and Jane K. Higashi; a brother, Sadao; four 
sisters, Mrs. Lillian Y. Santos, Mrs. Hachiro (Richiye) Hirano, Mrs. Walter 
(Iris I.) Ikemi of California and Mrs. Abraham (Mary K.) Pianehaka; and three 
grandchildren.
