MRS. ALICE L. HOOGS DIES AT 82 YEARS

  Mrs. Alice Love Hoogs, 82 ½ years old, mother of 10 living children, died at 
12:10 this morning at her home, 4471 Kahala Ave.
  Death came peacefully after a long illness. She had been in gradually 
failing health, due to age, for several years.
  She was the widow of William H. Hoogs, who died November 12, 1918.
  Surviving children are Frank L. Hoogs of Wailuku, Maui; William H. Hoogs, 
Jr. of Honolulu; Mrs. G. Stanley McKenzie of Beverly Hills, Calif.; Miss Alyce 
Hoogs of Honolulu; Mrs. G. Talmadge Wilson of Claremont, Calif.; Mrs. 
Valentine B. Libbey of Honolulu; James W. Hoogs of Portland, Ore.; Albert L. 
Hoogs, Richard J. Hoogs and Robert C. Hoogs of Honolulu.
  There are 25 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
  Private funeral services will be held Tuesday morning at Nuuanu cemetery. 
The family requests that no flowers be sent.
