KAPAHEE DEAD. Koloa, Kauai, Feb. 12--Mrs. Emily Kalama Kapahee, wife of the Hon. Judge Kapahee, died at the home of her mother here at 8:15 last night from an internal growth in the stomach. She had been ill for nearly five months, and death had been expected for some time. Mrs. Kapahee was born in Koloa 44 years ago. In March 1890, she was married to Mr. Kapahee with whom she moved to Hilo where until 1908 he was connected with the Hilo Boarding School, while Mrs. Kapahee spent most of her time in church and Sunday school work. In 1908 she returned to Koloa with her husband, where she has continued her residence until the end came. Deceased had been married for 20 years, 10 months, 12 days, and leaves a husband, a mother, two sisters, and a brother to mourn her loss. The brother is James Kula, a prominent resident of this district, while Mrs. Hulihee, one of the sisters, resides in Kau, and another, Mrs. Lui McKeague, resides in Koloa.
