Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Thursday, April 24, 1975
 David K. Kauwe, Jr., 65, of Waipahu and formerly of Kamuela, Hawaii, died 
Monday at his home.
 He was born in Waimea, Hawaii.
 Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. A prayer 
service will be held at 8:30 p.m.
 Funeral services will be held Wednesday at the Waimea, Hawaii, Church of 
Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. The time has not been announced. Burial will 
be in the family plot in Waimea.
 The family requests that flowers be omitted.
 He is survived by two sons, David K. III and Fred L.; five daughters, Mrs. 
Elmer (Mabel) Kekino, Mrs. Virginia Caulk, Mrs. Paul (Mildred) Nasiatka, Mrs. 
Sharon Nicholson and Linda Kauwe, one brother, John; two sisters, Mrs. Rose 
Farmer and Rena E. Kauwe; and 29 grandchildren.
