The Honolulu Advertiser, December 6, 1959
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the chapel of Honolulu 
Crematory for Kumao Miyanashi, 59, of 513 Kaiwiula St., who died Friday at St. 
Francis Hospital. The services will be followed by cremation. Born in Kumamoto 
prefecture, Japan on July 15, 1900. Mr. Miyanashi is survived by his wife, 
Mrs. Hinako Miyanashi, two sons, Hitoshi and Satoshi Miyanashi; and a 
daughter, Hisako Miyanashi. Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Natsu 
Miyanashi; a brother, _aru Miyanashi, who is on the Mainland; three sisters, 
Mrs. Matsuji (Hazel) Yukino, Mrs. Shigeru (Mitsuko) Iehimura and Mrs. Kentchi 
(Yoshie) Masada, and two grandchildren. Kukui Mortuary is handling 
arrangements.
