Robert A. Robbins Dies in California

 Word was received by friends of the death yesterday of Robert Arthur Robbins 
in Oakland, Calif. Robbins came to the Islands in 1902 and was connected with 
the Honolulu Rapid Transit Co. for a time. He joined Lewers & Cooke in July, 
1903 and retired in March, 1947. Then he and Mrs. Robbins moved to the coast 
and have been living at Santa Cruz, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Robbins, were 
prominently connected with the Methodist church in Honolulu.
 He leaves the widow, Edith; one son, Harold Moyer Robbins, residing in Menlo 
Park, Calif. and a daughter Wilma, who married Dr. Edwin Kilborne, Jr., 
residing in Saratoga, Calif.
