Honolulu Advertiser, Friday, May 27, 1966
 John E. Schmidt, 79, of 3780 Waialae Ave., died Wednesday in Queen's 
Hospital. He was born in Honolulu.
 Graveside services over the ashes will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Oahu 
Cemetery. The family asks that flowers be omitted.
 Surviving are the wife, Mrs. Emma E. Schmidt; a son, Ralph; and a sister, 
Mrs. Lena Lemmon of Castro Valley, Calif.
