Vierra, chief mate for Oahu Railway and Land Company since 1949, died yesterday at the Queen's Hospital from a heart condition. He was 38. Funeral services will be announced later by Ordenstein's Mortuary. Vierra entered the hospital Friday, three days after he became ill on the job. He made his home at 730-A Maluniu Avenue, Kailua. Survivors include his wife, Ruth; two daughters, Ruth and Theresa; mother, Mary Cozy Vierra; two brothers, Albert and Frank; sister, Mrs. Frances Alice Carrero; nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
