Mrs. Evelyn Ware Rites Thursday

 Funeral services over the ashes of Mrs. Evelyn Healy Ware, 81, of 38 Niuki
Circle, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Williams Mortuary.
 She died Sunday at Queen's Hospital.
 Interment will be at a later date in the columbarium at Diamond Head Cemetery.
 Mrs. Ware was the mother-in-law of the late Rear Admiral Frank T. Kenner,
retired, 14th Coast Guard District commander who died last March at his home in
Niu.
 In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Mrs. Ware's memory to the
Admiral Frank T. Kenner Scholarship Fund, 38 Niuki Circle.
 The fund is used to help Hui Pana La'au, a group of Hawaii men who accompanied
the admiral on several survey and settlement voyages to the Line Islands in the
1930's. A scholarship goes annually to a descendant of a Line Island settler.
 Mrs. Ware is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Frank T. Kenner; brother, Captain
George Healy of New London, Connecticut, and a sister, Mrs. Maude Ashcroft.
