Orr jessicanorr@gmail.com February 16, 2012, 6:41 pm Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Friday, April 8, 1955 ELLA WHITEHOUSE DIES, AGED 88 Mrs. Ella Foster Whitehouse, 88, widow of the late Louis M. Whitehouse died yesterday in a local hospital. Williams Mortuary is handling arrangements, which will be announced later. Mrs. Whitehouse, who was the daughter of Samuel H. Foster and Margaret Gorman Foster, was born October 25, 1866, in Honolulu. Her mother, Mrs. Foster married the late Hugh McCorriston of Kamalo, Molokai, and Honolulu. Mrs. Whitehouse was the sister of the late Mrs. John Lucas and the late Frank H. Foster. Mrs. Whitehouse is survived by four sisters and two brothers. They are William E. Kerr, Mrs. Mervyn T. Prindiville, the Misses Dove and Gertrude McCorriston and George and Oscar McCorriston. Other survivors are: nieces and nephews, Mrs. Nils P. Larsen, Harry Lucas, Miss Neoma Foster, Mrs. Andrew McGuire of Sacramento, California; Dan Foster of Koloa,Kauai; Francis Foster of Molokai; George, Jack and James Foster; Miss Margaret Kerr, Mrs. Cornell Bostwick, Mervyn T. Prindiville Jr. and the Misses Florence, Martha Ann and Colleen McCorriston.
