FRANK WIGHT OF KEAUHOU DIES IN HONOLULU Honolulu, April 27 (By Radio Teletype) – Mrs. Seilani Akan_ Wight niece of the late Carri_ Robinson, died today at 3:25 a.m. at St. Francis hospital. Mrs. Wight would have been 67 on her birthday, September 28. She was born in 1887 in Kailua, Kona, Hawaii. When attending Punahou school, Mrs. Wight stayed at the Robinson home which was on the property now occupied by the Sears, Roebuck store. She was the widow of the late Frank Hastings Wight. They were at the Waialua plantation, Oahu, for more than 30 years. Following retirement, they moved to Kona to a farm. Mrs. Wight’s home was at Keauhou, Hawaii, but she had been staying with her son, Francis Wilder Wight, at 3085 Felix street. Besides Francis, she is also survived by another son, Camuel Gard-survived by another son, Samuel Gard*-Wight Weeks of Kona; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Wassman, Miss Hannah Akana, Mrs. Ida Chai, and a brother, Charles Akana. Graveside services over the ashes will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Edward Kahala of Kawaiahao church will officiate at the family plot in Nuuanu cemetery.
