Wight Dies in Hospital Here Mrs. Heilani Akana Wight, niece of the late Carrie Robinson, died today at 3:25 a.m. at St. Francis hospital. Mrs. Wight would have been 61 on her birthday, September 28. She was born in 1887 in Kailua, Kona, Hawaiil. When attending Punahou school, Mrs. Wight stayed at the Robinson home, which was on the property now occupied by the Sears, Roebuck store. She was the widow of the late Frank Hastings Wight. They were at the Waialua Plantation, Oahu for over 30 years. Following retirement, they removed to Kona to a farm. Mrs. Wight's home was at Keauhou, Hawaii, but she had been staying with her son, Francis Wilder Wight, at 3085 Felix St. Besides Francis, she is also survived by another son, Samuel Gardner Wight; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Wight Weeks of Kona; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Emma Wassman, Miss Hannah Akana, Mrs. Ida Chai, and a brother, Charles Akana. Graveside services over the ashes will be at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Edward Kahale of Kawaiahao church will officiate at the family plot in Nuuanu cemetery.
