Orr jessicanorr@gmail.com March 12, 2014, 10:20 pm The Honolulu Advertiser, Sunday, June 8, 1930 Benedict-Atchison Rites on Thursday At Central Union At a half past seven service at Central Union church on Thursday evening, Miss Eves Atchison became the bride of Frank Roy Benedict, the father and mother of the bridegroom and a very few close friends being the only witnesses at the ceremony. The bride's dress was a lovely one of shell pink lace and net and her hat matched in color. She carried an exquisite old-fashioned bouquet of giant gardenias and stephanotis with a frill of white tulle. Her only attendant, Miss Kay Banks, was gowned in beige lace with a matching hat and her old-fashioned bouquet was of pale yellow roses and forget-me-nots. George Lindley served the bridegroom as best man. After the ceremony there was a wedding dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Huston Reeves at Woodlawn. Mr. and Mrs. Benedict are to make their home in Honolulu and on their return from their honeymoon will occupy a house at Kahala.
