Mills Wed April 10 A late morning wedding at the Church of the Crossroads April 10 united in marriage Miss Dorothy Ellen Byers and Hubert Melville Mills. The Rev. Charles C. Hoskinson performed the ceremony which was followed by luncheon at the Royal Hawaiian hotel. Daughter of V. E. Byers of Whittier, Calif., the bride was attired in a grey eyelet gown complimented by a leghorn picture hat. She wore a lilac corsage. Her only attendant was Miss Joan Wall. She wore a pink and grey striped gown. Lilacs were in her hair. Olen V. Andrews was best man. The newlyweds went on a brief Hilo honeymoon and will be on Molokai for six months before establishing residence in Honolulu. The bride was graduated from San Jose State college in 1945. Mr. Mills was with the army air force in England during World War II. He is with the Andrew Flying Service as a pilot.
