Miss Carla Doherty and Benjamin Lee Married Yesterday

 Yesterday afternoon, at a four o'clock ceremony, Miss Carla Doherty and 
Benjamin A. Lee were married at the home of the bridegroom's parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Benjamin F. Lee. The service was read by Rev. Henry Judd in a charming 
setting of flowers and ferns.
 The bride wore a lovely gown of pink chiffon with hat and shoes to match, and 
in place of a bouquet she had a long lei of pink carnations. Her sister, Miss 
Alice Doherty, was her only attendant; her dress was of ecru chiffon and lace 
and with this she wore several strands of ilima leis with shoes of an ilima 
color.
 Hugh N. Patten served as best man.
 Members of the two families and a few of the most intimate friends of the 
young couple were asked for the ceremony and the reception which followed.
 Mr. and Mrs. Lee will be at home to friends at Kailua, where they are to 
live, after the first of July.
