Piram Before an improvised altar of Island palms, tuberoses and Easter lilies, Miss Phyllis Cogswell Jones, daughter of Mrs. Helen Darrow Jones, became the bride of Lieut. Joseph S. Piram, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Piram of Billings, Montana, Wednesday afternoon at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. James T. Barber at Ft. Kamehameha. Judge Edward O'Connor read the marriage lines at the ceremony attended only be members of the family and intimate friends. "The Song of The Islands" was played during the service. The bride was gowned in mist gray organza, fashioned in Empire style with a V neckline and puffed sleeves. Rose colored ribbons, ending in a sash, matched the anthuriums she carried. Mrs. Barber, her sister's matron of honor, wore yellow organza, fashioned in the same style as the bride's gown. Her flowers were blue delphiniums. Mrs. Jones, mother of the bride, chose a gown of navy blue lace for her costume, complimented by a corsage of gardenias and lilies-of-the valley. The bride's going away ensemble was a coral suit of soft wool with a felt hat to match. Lieut. John J. Stark, a classmate of the bridegroom of '34, served as the best man. After the marriage a small reception was held for members of the family. The couple will be at home to friends at 974 Prospect street after July 15.
