Lovely Wedding Solemnized At Central Union

 A lovely June wedding was that of Helen Leithead, daughter of S. G. Leithead, 
and William Albert Schiller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schiller of 
Collinsville, Ill., on Thursday at 5 o'clock in the afternoon at Central Union 
church. Dr. J. Leslie Dunstan read the nuptial lines, and Mr. Leithead gave 
his daughter in marriage.
 Tall vases filled with lilies were placed on each side of the chancel, which 
was arranged with Easter lilies, palms and ferns.
 The bride was attractively gowned in bridal pink lace, made along silhouetted 
lines ending in a slight train and detailed by a short jacket fashioned with 
sleeves fill at the shoulders and narrowing to the wrists. Her turban of 
georgette featured a shoulder length veil of bridal lace complementing her 
gown, and she wore strands of pikake leis.
 Miss Wilhelmina Leithead, who was her sister's maid of honor, wore a long 
aquamarine silk crepe gown, made with wide sleeves and ecclesiastical 
neckline. A lovely contrast was the large pink picture hat of silk crepe.
 D. Ransom Sherretz assisted the bridegroom as best man.
 The wedding reception was held at the Elks club following the church 
ceremony. Assisting at the reception were intimate friends of the bride.
 The young Mrs. Schiller chose for her going away gown a white ribbed silk 
ensemble with all red accessories.
 The young people will be at home at 2112 Haena drive after July 1.
