Orr jessicanorr@gmail.com July 31, 2014, 2:10 am The Honolulu Advertiser, Sunday, June 6, 1937 Jean MacKenzie Is Married To A. Neptune, Jr. Miss Jean MacKenzie, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Duncan C. MacKenzie of Vancouver, B.C., became the bride of Mr. Ansley N. Neptune, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. A. N. Neptune of Fairmount, W. Va., at a service read at the Manoa home of Mr. Paul Sanders and Miss Alice Sanders last Friday. The bride, escorted by her father, was gowned in white sheer vofle fashioned along simple lines and made with puffed sleeves. Her turban was of white chiffon velvet and she carried white roses and delphiniums. Mrs. Jack V. Otton was matron of honor and Miss Margaret MacKenzie, sister of the bride, was her bridesmaid. Mr. Otton served as the best man. The matron of honor was gowned in blue and carried delphiniums to match. Miss MacKenzie wore green dotted swiss and her flowers were yellow roses. The bride chose a white ensemble for her going away costume. The couple are spending their honeymoon at Lanikai.
