Butler Attired in an ice blue satin gown, Miss Marie Christine Miller became the bride of Lt. Cmdr. Gladstone Ingles Butler USNR, in rites performed at the Naval Air Facility chapel April 10. Lt. Warren L. Bost, chaplain, performed the ceremonies which united the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph P. Miller of Anacoda, Mont., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Milby B. Butler of League City, Tex. Charles H. Stubblefield escorted the bride to the altar which was arranged with white calla lilies and watsonia. The bride's gown was designed with a short train and net yoke. Her blue tulle beil was held in place by a halo of pikake buds. She carried a bouquet of pastel vanda orchids with ribbon streamers detailed with pikake. A gold chain necklace with diamond pendants that was worn by her mother for her wedding enhanced the effect. Miss Katherine E. Lowe was the bride's only attendant. She wore a dusty pink faille gown of ballerine length with a pink tulle and rosebud headdress. Her flowers were an old fashioned bouquet of pink roses and blue delphiniums. Lt. Cmdr. Thomas R. McKelvey was best man. Ushers were Lt. Cmdr. Donald Hagek and Lt. George Von Weller. The Bride's mother wore a black chiffon gown with a white phalaenopsis corsage. A reception followed at the Commissioned Officers' club, naval air facility. Assisting were Mrs. Thomas R. McKelvey and Miss Carol Keefe. A fortnight's honeymoon was spent on Hawaii and Maui and the couple are now making theri home at Waikiki. The bride was graduated from the Sacred Hearts hospital school of nursing at Spokane, Wash., and attended the University of Washington.
