In the afternoon of Christmas Day, Henry Brash, returning home from Kekaha and riding on the side seat of a motorcycle, was killed instantly by being hurled against a tree on the side of the road. Making the curve at the Waimea dairy, the cycle skidded and landed against the tree. Young Prigge of Kapaa was driving, and he was hurt but not very seriously. Henry Brash was the assistant engineer at Kealia. He was a son of the well-known William G. Brash of Honolulu.
