All of his children with the exception of one were present at the funeral service, which was held on Saturday at 3 p.m., at the Kapaa Hawaiian church, with the Rev. I. K. Kauuawai officiating. The seven sons acted in the capacity of pall bearers. During the time of his residence on this island, Cummings was an active church worker and for many years he has represented his church at the carious church conventions held on the various islands.
