James Grey, an old-time resident, died at Waimea Hospital on March the 2nd. He was born in England 90 years ago and came to the Islands on a British man-o- war when quite a young man. He landed here about 60 years ago and was for years employed by Koloa Plantation. He had many yarns to tell about his experiences as a sailor in the British Navy and had taken part in several Central American revolutions where he had many hairbreadth escapes. For the last 25 years of his life, he has been taken care of at the Waimea Hospital.
