NEAL, JOHN WALKER
DEATH OF JOHN W. NEAL.  News of the death of John W. Neal in Detroit, Michigan, was

received Jan. 25th by Mrs. Neal of 1116 Wilder Avenue. The news came unexpectedly, 
for the wife had no previous intimation that her husband had been ill. Mr. Neal left

Honolulu last February for the mainland. He was a draftsman and was born in Koloa, 
Kauai, on January 12, 1863. Besides the widow, five children survive him. Mrs. Neal

expects to receive further particulars shortly of her husband's death.
