Shigetome Otake, tractor driver employed by the Makee Sugar Company, died at the Kealia hospital last Friday at noon as the result of having his pelvis crushed by the overturning tractor he was driving early on Thursday morning. He was rushed from the field to the hospital and never lost consciousness up to the time of his death. The deceased was formerly employed by the Hawaiian Canneries Company at Moloaa in the same capacity and has only been with the Makee Sugar Company about six months. He was 32 years of age and is survived by a wife and two young daughters.
